A plain-language explanation of what we ask for, why we ask, and how carefully we keep it.
When you submit a puppy application we collect your contact details, household and home information, care and lifestyle answers, veterinarian details, three personal references and your typed signature. Waitlist, stud inquiry and contact forms collect only the fields shown on those forms. We also record anonymous page views (page path, referrer, browser type) to understand which pages are useful.
We do not ask for and will never request Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, or any other government identification numbers. We do not collect payment information through this website.
Application information is used solely to evaluate whether a placement is a good fit for the puppy and for you. We call the references you provide and, with your permission, your veterinarian. Notes we take during that process are kept private to our family.
Only the breeder account can view applications, references, inquiries and messages. Applicant information is never displayed publicly anywhere on this site, is never sold, and is never shared with other breeders or third-party marketers.
Approved and placed applications are retained as part of that dog's lifetime record. Applications that are not approved are kept for up to two years in case you reapply, then deleted on request or at our regular cleanup.
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information you submitted. Email hello@sweettdoodles.com and we will confirm within a few days.
